It is a discipline composed of both practical and integrated fields from traditional areas such as psychology, physiology, and mental health. Art therapy is well known as an effective treatment for a diverse range of populations (i.e., children, adults, and seniors) and settings (i.e., hospitals, psychiatric and rehabilitation facilities, hospice care, and other clinical and community settings).
